Iksan City Recruiting Applicants for 'Informatization Education' Until the 21st

Four Courses Including Basic Smartphone Skills
Up to 30 Participants per Course

Iksan City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting students for free citizen informatization education programs to provide residents with educational opportunities suitable for the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.


According to the city on the 7th, this education program will offer four courses, including basic computer and internet skills and basic smartphone usage. Each course will accommodate up to 30 participants and will be held five times a week for two hours each session starting next month.

Any resident of Iksan can participate, and the application and education schedules for each course can be checked and reserved through the integrated reservation system on the Iksan City website.


The first course for the first half of this year, Basic Computer and Internet Skills, can be applied for through the integrated reservation system on the Iksan City website until the 21st, or by calling the Smart Information Division.


A city official said, "We expect that informatization education will help close the information gap among citizens and improve their information skills," adding, "We will continue to provide customized education that meets the needs of our citizens."
