KCC Reports Operating Profit of 471.1 Billion KRW Last Year, Up 51% Year-on-Year

Operating Profit in Q4 Up 70% to 98.3 Billion KRW

KCC recorded improved performance last year despite a challenging business environment due to the downturn in front-end industries such as construction.

On the 7th, KCC announced that it posted sales of 6.6588 trillion KRW and an operating profit of 471.1 billion KRW last year. These figures represent increases of 5.9% and 50.7%, respectively, compared to the previous year.

The growth in the fourth quarter was even greater. Sales rose 4.7% year-on-year to 1.6575 trillion KRW, while operating profit surged 69.8% to 98.3 billion KRW during the same period.

A KCC official stated, "Despite the difficult environment, we were able to achieve solid results thanks to a robust portfolio. Given the expected challenges this year, we plan to continue focusing on cash flow-centered business operations."
