Jangseong County to Provide On-Site Technical Support for Crop Management Until the 28th

Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will conduct on-site technical support for crop management until the 28th.

Accordingly, the county has organized a technical support team from the Jangseong Agricultural Technology Center to provide necessary assistance at agricultural sites.

The supported items include fruit trees, greenhouse vegetables, and winter crops. For fruit trees, white water-based paint is applied to the rootstock and trunk, or insulation materials are used to prevent cold damage. If drought persists, regular irrigation is carried out to manage growth.

For greenhouse vegetables, heating facilities are frequently inspected and insulation materials are prepared in case of breakdowns. Ventilation fans and circulation fans are operated to prevent diseases caused by moisture.

For winter crops, sufficient moisture is supplied after sowing to prevent soil from drying out, and straw, non-woven fabric, or vinyl is used for covering to prevent damage.
