Seosan City Successfully Concludes Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign... Raised 2.24 Billion Won

Achieved 131% of the Fundraising Goal of 1.7 Billion KRW

Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 6th that it raised 2,241,000,000 KRW in donations through the "Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign," which was conducted for 62 days from December 1 last year to January 31 this year.

This achievement, made despite the economic downturn, was the result of continued generosity from individuals, organizations, and businesses from all walks of life, reaching 131% of Seosan City's fundraising goal of 1.7 billion KRW.

The collected donations will be used to support vulnerable groups and neighbors in welfare blind spots within the city, including emergency support projects, region-specific welfare programs, and support for social welfare facilities.

Mayor Lee Wanseop said, "I sincerely thank everyone who shared warmth with their neighbors by thinking of others before themselves," and added, "We will take the lead in realizing 'A Leap Forward Seosan, A Livable Seosan' through diverse welfare policies."

Meanwhile, the final tally of donations for the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign is expected to be completed in the middle of this month.
