"Qualified Individuals Assigned to Key Positions
to Realize Glocal Jeonnam Education"
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 6th the regular personnel appointments for 2,652 educational public officials, including principals and vice principals, effective March 1 of this year.
This round of appointments includes the promotion, transfer, and reassignment of 255 principals and directors, 136 vice principals and vice directors, 2,132 teachers, 27 supervisors and educational researchers, 73 assistant supervisors and assistant educational researchers, and 29 Neulbom dedicated office heads. By school level, the appointments cover 127 for kindergartens, 1,102 for elementary schools, and 1,423 for secondary schools.
An official from the Provincial Office of Education stated, "For this round of appointments, we assigned qualified individuals with competence and leadership to the right positions to realize 'Glocal Jeonnam Education where the region and the world coexist.'" The official further explained that particular emphasis was placed on the stable implementation of key policies such as establishing a culture of lesson research through the operation of 2030 classrooms, promoting reading and humanities education, realizing the value of coexistence, and nurturing glocal talents.
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education plans to continue striving to create an environment where teachers can focus on educational activities through fair and balanced personnel principles.
