Business Leaders from Jangheung County Donate 20 Million Won for Sports Promotion

Kim Rokjung and Kim Uk: "For the Advancement of Local Sports"

Businesspeople from Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do donated 20 million KRW on the 5th to promote local sports development.

According to Jangheung-gun on the 6th, Kim Rokjung, CEO of Oryun Sports Co., Ltd., and Kim Uk, CEO of Antuka Co., Ltd., are the main contributors. The two businesspeople donated 10 million KRW to the Jangheung-gun Sports Promotion Fund and another 10 million KRW to the Jangheung-gun Sports Association's operating fund, supporting the advancement of local sports.

The county plans to use this donation to create an environment where local students can participate more actively in sports activities and to foster outstanding sports talent.

Kim Rokjung stated, "I am happy to contribute to the sports development of my hometown, Jangheung," and added, "I will continue to support so that students can exercise in a better environment." Kim Uk shared, "I hope my hometown Jangheung will further develop through sports."

Kim Sung, the county governor, said, "The interest and support of businesspeople from the region are greatly contributing to the development of sports," and added, "This donation will be used to create an environment where more community members can participate in sports activities."

Jung Sungin, president of the Jangheung-gun Sports Association, said, "We will do our best to create an even more vibrant sports culture with this donation," and expressed hope that, in line with the donors' intentions, Jangheung-gun's sports development will take a significant step forward."
