The Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi donated 'five boxes of tteok' sent by a citizen who was transported to a hospital by ambulance last month to a nearby community service center.
According to the Suwon Nambu Fire Station on the 6th, a mysterious box was delivered to the Jiman 119 Safety Center on the morning of the 5th, which was confirmed to be boxes of tteok. The donor later called the Jiman Center and explained that they had received ambulance services from the Jiman Center on the 13th of last month due to an injury and sent the tteok as a token of gratitude.

Paramedic Sergeant Jang Jihwan and substitute personnel Oh Youngtaek, who were dispatched at the time, expressed their thanks, saying, "We just did what we were supposed to do, but this case has greatly encouraged and boosted the morale of our staff," and added, "We will continue to do our best in patient transport and other duties."
Go Youngju, chief of the Suwon Nambu Fire Station, said, "The five boxes of donated tteok likely conveyed warm feelings not only to our staff but also to our neighbors during the cold winter," and added, "We understand that the tteok sent to the nearby community service center was distributed to underprivileged neighbors in the area."
