Cable TV company D'Live announced on the 4th that it has strengthened the competitiveness of its FAST channel service 'DIVA' by collaborating with New ID, Asia's largest FAST company. FAST service stands for Free Ad-Supported Streaming, which refers to free streaming TV services based on TV advertisements.
At the end of last year, D'Live signed a business agreement with New ID in the advertising sector and strengthened its advertising sales competitiveness, which can be considered the foundation of FAST channels. D'Live explained that it has promoted advancements in various areas such as solutions and content that customers can experience.
Through this advancement work, D'Live added new features such as channel favorites and genre classification functions, and applied the global UI/UX provided by New ID. In addition, it plans to expand to 50 channels by the second half of this year by receiving premium domestic and international FAST channels owned by New ID.
Furthermore, the service also includes New ID's one-stop solutions such as 'Playout Plus,' which supports content upload, schedule management, ad insertion, and live streaming, and 'Demand+,' an advertising operation solution for building a global advertising network.
DIVA is the only FAST channel service installed on the domestic OTT box D'Live OTT'v, and has been enhancing the competitiveness of FAST services by reinforcing channels of various genres such as local community-based content and animation.
Currently, DIVA operates 20 FAST channels of various genres, including D'Live TV's representative content 'Historya.' In particular, it is differentiating itself by providing local community-based content in cooperation with local public institutions.
