Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju recently visited the company ‘Gitek Co., Ltd. (CEO Baek Hyung-beom)’ located in Gwangjeok-myeon within the jurisdiction to listen to difficulties and discuss solutions, marking the first step of this year’s ‘on-site communication administration.’

‘Gitek Co., Ltd.’ is a cooling system specialized company that designs and manufactures cooling modules based on over 40 years of accumulated technology and expertise.

At the meeting, CEO Baek Hyung-beom reportedly requested city-level support due to difficulties in hiring employees and the need to expand the access road for smooth and safe logistics operations.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, “Since the access road expansion is adjacent to a stream, we will seek solutions through in-depth review,” and added, “The manpower shortage in the western region is linked to traffic congestion, so we will do our best to alleviate traffic jams, including the construction of bypass roads.”

Meanwhile, since Mayor Kang’s inauguration, the city has been making great efforts to quickly resolve corporate difficulties and ease regulations by conducting monthly company visits.

Additionally, this year, the city has set the top priority of municipal administration as the recovery of the people’s economy and plans to accelerate regional economic revitalization through active support for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.
