Opening at Jayu Small Theater in Daehangno on March 11
The original musical "Hatshepsut," which tells the story of the ancient Egyptian female pharaoh, will open on March 11 at the Jayu Small Theater in Daehangno.
Hatshepsut was the 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom of Egypt. The musical "Hatshepsut" deals with the conflict and fate between Hatshepsut, who wanted to be a powerful king, and 'Amun,' who lost everything because of Egypt.

Writer Jeong Pil revealed that he was inspired to write the work by a female mummy found next to Hatshepsut's tomb during its excavation.
The role of Hatshepsut, who trusts no one around her and stands alone to become the greatest pharaoh in Egyptian history, is played by Shin Euijeong, Jeon Seongmin, J-Min, and Hyoeun.
The role of Amun, who lost his parents and homeland to the enemy Egypt and waits only for the moment of revenge, is played by Kim Kyungmin, Joo Daon, Jang Boram, and Choi Suhyun.
A representative of the production company stated, "Through delicate narratives between characters that highlight the strengths of a two-woman play and numbers with diverse musical appeal, we plan to leave a deep impression on the audience."
"Hatshepsut" is scheduled to run until June 1. News related to the performance can be found on the official social media channels of the production company, Gleam Company.
