As of the end of December last year, the total amount of support to be provided to approximately 45,600 residents of Wando County is estimated at about 9.1 billion won, and the county plans to use the Wando County Fiscal Stabilization Fund as the financial source. Starting next month, the county will begin the process of enacting an ordinance for the 'Livelihood Recovery Support Fund', and after budget deliberation at the temporary council session in February, the support fund will be distributed.

The support fund will be provided in the form of Wando Love Gift Certificates, which is also expected to stimulate local consumption. This decision was made through continuous communication with National Assembly member Park Jiwan and local residents, and is part of the policy to focus this year's fiscal management on the recovery of the local economy as announced at the beginning-of-the-year business briefing.

Governor Shin Woochul stated, "As the economic situation has been slow to improve, we decided to provide the livelihood recovery support fund to stabilize residents' lives and revitalize the local economy," adding, "We hope this support fund will help small business owners and self-employed people stabilize their management through increased consumption and revitalization of commercial districts."
