Seosan City in Chungnam joined forces with related organizations, including Chungnam Province, to address the crisis facing the region's specialized petrochemical industry.

Seosan City announced that the first on-site economic situation inspection meeting, hosted by Chungnam Province, was held on the 23rd in the main conference room of the new headquarters at the HD Hyundai Oilbank Daesan Plant.

More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop, Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum, and representatives from related companies.

The participants began by visiting the refinery facilities, received reports on the trends and crisis response strategies of the petrochemical industry, shared opinions from each organization, and gathered feedback from companies.

In particular, they listened directly on-site to the difficulties faced by the refining and petrochemical companies in the Daesan Petrochemical Complex and discussed possible solutions together.

Seosan City and Chungnam Province plan to make every effort to develop measures to overcome the crisis in the petrochemical industry based on the opinions collected from companies.

Mayor Lee Wan-seop of Seosan said, "We will respond to the crisis in the region's specialized petrochemical industry together with Chungnam Province and related organizations," adding, "We will do our best to help the petrochemical industry overcome the crisis and achieve a new leap forward in cooperation with Chungnam Province."
