Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 23rd that it conducted visits to elderly and disabled organizations within the city on the 22nd to celebrate the 2025 Eulsa Year Lunar New Year, creating a warm and happy holiday atmosphere.

On that day, Mayor Joo Gwang-deok visited the Namyangju branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association located in Geumgok-dong (Branch President Yoon Hae-won) and the Namyangju branch of the Gyeonggi Disabled Parents' Association (Branch President Kim Hee-jung) to deliver messages of encouragement filled with hope.
Mayor Joo said, “I deeply appreciate the dedication and hard work of the organization members who are working selflessly on the ground,” and added, “Namyangju City will do its best to get closer to marginalized neighbors and become a reliable support throughout their lives.”
Namyangju City delivered consolation funds to 27 locations, including local disabled organizations, facilities, and elderly welfare facilities, to ensure that all citizens can have a happy and warm holiday.
