StageFive Launches Nordic-Style Kids Watch... "Suitable for Children Under 10"

XGO3 is a product of Xplora, a Norway-based company specializing in kids' smartwatches, and is a popular, quality-assured product with over 1.5 million units sold globally. It is a wearable device that replaces smartphone functions such as calls, text messaging, and location tracking, expected to be available at a reasonable price for children aged 4 to 10.

The XGO3 kids' watch allows children to earn points based on step counts from their activities, which can be used through a dedicated application to purchase various content such as music, e-books, and games. It comes in two colors: pink and blue, and features IP68 waterproofing, a 5MP camera, and GPS. It offers various functions including school class mode, emergency SOS, and child location tracking.

Stage Five has experience in directly manufacturing and distributing kids' watches and has introduced various popular kids' phones over the years. To commemorate the exclusive first launch of XGO3 in Korea, a pre-order event limited to 1,000 units will be held for 10 days starting January 20 on the Findirect Mall. Pre-order customers will receive a dedicated kids' watch plan free for three months.

The device price is 179,000 KRW, and communication services (2GB data / 200 minutes voice / 200 texts) are available for 5,500 KRW per month. The official launch is from January 31, and all customers will receive one year of free after-sales service.

Sangwon Seo, CEO of Stage Five, stated, "Kids' watches have a relatively low risk of damage and loss, making them highly useful devices for children under 10, but from the customer's perspective, the selection is limited. We plan to continue launching various types of devices and services that customers need, not limited to simple resale of existing carrier services."
