Changwon Special City Seongsan-gu Engages in Communication with Korea Food Service Industry Association Seongsan-gu Branch

Discussion on Promotion of Major City Policies and Cooperation Measures

Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held a discussion on economic revitalization based on the activation of the food service industry, chaired by District Mayor Choi Young-sook, with executives and staff of the Changwon Special City Seongsan-gu branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association.

The meeting held on the 22nd included greetings from the newly appointed Seongsan-gu Mayor Choi Young-sook, promotion of the 2025 city administration direction and major district issues, a request for active cooperation for smooth district administration, and a free communication session to listen to the business owners' suggestions.


Additionally, they urged the provision of safe food, a clean sanitary environment, and friendly service for the development of Changwon Special City's food culture.


The Changwon Special City Seongsan-gu branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association manages 2,900 member establishments out of 2,935 general restaurants located in Seongsan-gu, and is composed of Branch Director Kang Ho-soon, the Secretariat Director, and operating committee members.


Mayor Choi stated, “I thank the restaurant business owners who are working hard to revitalize the food service industry during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday. We will cooperate to develop together through improving the sanitary environment and promoting policy projects.”
