Chairman Kim Byungkwan: "Hope for Further Expansion of Cooperation"

On the 20th (local time), the Korea Importers Association announced on the 21st that it held a business forum and consultation meeting for global supply chain diversification at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The event was attended by Kim Byung-kwan, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association; Park Soo-duk, Charg? d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia; Zelda Ulan Kartika, Charg? d'Affaires of Indonesia to Korea; Pazarini Punter Dwi, Director of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry; and Win Min-pyo, Director of Trade and Investment at the Korea-ASEAN Center. Additionally, over 60 companies from both countries participated, introducing key industries and exemplary cases of cooperation between the two nations.
Chairman Kim said, "Indonesia, with its large population and diverse underground resources, holds high potential and is the only Southeast Asian country to have a 'Special Strategic Partnership' with Korea. Through this visit, I hope cooperation between the two countries will further expand."
Pazarini Punter Dwi, Director of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, emphasized, "Indonesia is continuously striving to strengthen business cooperation with Korea, and through this business forum, we hope that Indonesia's excellent products and various companies can enter the Korean market."
Park Soo-duk, Charg? d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia, stated, "Indonesia is a key economic partner where many Korean companies have established a presence. In a situation where global uncertainties are increasing, the importance of trade between the two countries for stabilizing the global supply chain is growing even more."
