Anseong-si, Public Delivery App 'Baedal Teukgeup' Discount Event

Baedal Teukgeup is a public delivery app created by Gyeonggi Province to address issues caused by the market-dominant structure of platform operators and to solve the high commission fees of existing platform operators. It offers franchise owners a low commission rate in the 1% range.

The city has especially increased the budget related to Baedal Teukgeup by 33% compared to last year, allocating 196 million KRW, and plans to further accelerate the recovery of the local economy in the first half of the year by setting aside the increased budget as a January contingency fund.

The city provides a fixed Baedal Teukgeup event delivery fee coupon (up to 3,000 KRW) as a basic offer, and on the third Friday of every month, it offers a 'Teukgeup Day Coupon' worth 5,000 KRW. Additionally, 3,000 KRW discount coupons will be provided every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with various consumer support coupons issued monthly.

Discount coupons can be downloaded and used from the top banner of the Baedal Teukgeup app and can be paid for using various methods such as local currency, credit cards, debit cards, and simple payment systems. When paying with Anseong City's local currency card, the 'Anseong Sarang Card,' a 15% cashback is also applied.

Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong City, said, "The activation of Baedal Teukgeup will reduce the delivery commission fees that are a burden to food service merchants," and added, "The city will continue to work together to restore the local economy."
