Special Fire Safety Training at Busan Fire Academy: 12 Air Busan Cabin Crew Members Participate
Professional Practical Training Including Simulated Fire Drills, CPR, and Emergency Patient Care Methods

On the 20th, Air Busan cabin crew members attended a special fire safety training session at the Busan Fire Academy located in Geumgok-dong, Busan, conducted by active firefighters from the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters.
The participating crew members are safety instructors responsible for in-flight safety training for Air Busan cabin crew. This training was organized to strengthen their high-level response capabilities and professionalism through realistic fire drills.
The training, led by active firefighter instructors, included practical exercises applicable in the field such as ▲simulated in-flight fire scenarios ▲cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) ▲airway obstruction and trauma patient treatment methods.
An Air Busan representative stated, “Through this training, we were able to enhance the response abilities of cabin crew who are on the front lines of in-flight safety and instill a strong sense of responsibility for safety. In line with Air Busan’s founding philosophy, we will continue to prioritize safety as our highest value and lead the aviation safety culture.”
In 2023, Air Busan signed a mutual agreement with the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters to strengthen safety capabilities and has been actively exchanging training programs, including conducting aviation safety training for firefighters.
