Lotte Chilsung Beverage's 'Baekhwaseubok' is a representative ceremonial liquor with an 81-year tradition, meaning to live long and enjoy lasting blessings. It contains the heartfelt wishes for the recipient's health and happiness.
Baekhwaseubok has a long history of 81 years since its launch in 1945. It uses 100% domestically grown rice, polished to about 30% of the outer layer, and features a soft and clean taste unique to cheongju (clear rice wine) through low-temperature fermentation and aging methods. The alcohol content is 13%.
To embody the sincere heart of our people, the label uses an oriental brush calligraphy style, and gold color is applied to both the label and the cap (bottle cap) to emphasize luxury and the image of Korea's representative ceremonial liquor. Since August 2023, the company has applied technology to upcycle by-products such as rice bran generated during the brewing process as raw materials for product packaging boxes and other packages. This environmentally friendly effort was recognized with an Excellence Award at the 'Green Packaging Contest' hosted by the Korea Environmental Packaging Promotion Institute.

Baekhwaseubok for ceremonies or gifts comes in two sizes: 700㎖ and 1.8ℓ, and can be purchased at various places such as discount stores and convenience stores.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official said, "This cheongju product is carefully brewed with selected rice, just as our ancestors used. With the price lowered due to the standard sales ratio introduced last year, it is a more reasonable price, making it a good liquor to perform ceremonies and share blessings with family members gathered after a long time."
