31 positions for Community Job Project, 23 for Public Work Project

Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk Province is recruiting participants for the ‘Community Job Project’ and the ‘Public Work Project’ from the 16th to the 24th as part of employment measures for vulnerable groups.

Through this project, 31 people will be selected for the Community Job Project (including the creation of the Seocheon Waterside Vegetation Park and 10 other sites), and 23 people for the Public Work Project (including environmental cleanup at Sobaeksan Return-to-Farming Dream Town and 17 other sites).

Eligibility requires applicants to be Yeongju citizens aged 18 or older with work ability as of the project start date, belonging to households with a median income of 60% or less. Additionally, household assets must be under 400 million KRW for the Community Job Project and under 300 million KRW for the Public Work Project.

Both projects will run for four months from March 4 to June 30. Citizens wishing to participate should visit their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center to apply. When applying, applicants must submit their ID along with the application form, health insurance qualification certificate, resident registration copy, and job-seeker registration certificate.

Selection results will be notified individually by the end of February only to those selected, based on a comprehensive evaluation of income, assets, and other eligibility criteria. For more details, please refer to the recruitment announcement section on the city hall website or contact the Yeongju City Job and Economy Division.

Geum Won-seop, head of the Job and Economy Division, said, “Through this public job project in the first half of the year, we aim to provide economic support and opportunities for social participation to vulnerable groups facing economic difficulties,” and added, “We hope for the active interest and participation of Yeongju citizens.”
