On the 10th, Mayor Kim Dong-geun opened the first 'On-site Mayor's Office' of the new year of the Eulsa year at the Singok 2-dong Community Center, listening to citizens' opinions and checking for any inconveniences. This is the second round of neighborhood visits following last year.
During the on-site mayor's office held that day, various daily civil complaints were received, including △ revitalization of the marathon festival △ management of the lower part of the light rail bridge △ installation of crosswalks near apartments △ creation of a dirt road near Hyoja Station △ installation of ground traffic lights △ maintenance of drainage in front of Baek Hospital and installation of bus stop shelters.
There was also a time to explain the development direction of the newly reborn Chudong Park.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, “Welcoming the first on-site mayor's office of the new year at Singok 2-dong, I had time to communicate with citizens. Through the on-site mayor's office this year as well, I will carefully review citizens' proposals and reflect them in city administration to make Uijeongbu a pleasant city without inconveniences in citizens' daily lives.”
Meanwhile, the next on-site mayor's office is scheduled to be held at Heungseon-dong Administrative Welfare Center on the 24th.
