[Featured Stock] Hyundai Motor-NVIDIA Alliance... SureSoft Tech Emerges as Key Partner in SDV Verification

SureSoftTech is showing strong performance. The news that Hyundai Motor Group has partnered with global semiconductor company NVIDIA appears to have influenced investor sentiment. The group is expanding the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology across its business, including intelligent core mobility solutions, SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle), AI robots, and digital twin technology factory operations. Hyundai Motor holds a 7.32% stake in SureSoftTech, making it the second-largest shareholder.

As of 9:43 AM on the 10th, SureSoftTech is trading at 5,340 KRW, up 11.25% compared to the previous day.

On the 9th, Hyundai Motor Group signed a strategic partnership with NVIDIA for mobility innovation at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas Hotel in Nevada, USA. Utilizing NVIDIA’s accelerated computing hardware and generative AI development tools, they established a system to safely train AI models on vast amounts of data and develop AI applications needed throughout the value chain.

Finally, Hyundai Motor Group decided to collaborate with NVIDIA to develop AI-based robots using NVIDIA’s robotics platform 'Isaac' and to build virtual environments necessary for robot learning.

Kim Heung-soo, head of Hyundai Motor Group’s Global Strategy Office (GSO), said, "Hyundai Motor Group is making innovative attempts by utilizing AI in various fields such as robotics, autonomous driving, and smart factories. Through cooperation with NVIDIA, we will solidify and accelerate these innovations to become a leading company in future mobility."

Earlier, Hyundai Motor Group announced plans to invest 24.3 trillion KRW domestically this year. This investment amount is 19% higher than the previous domestic record set in 2024 (20.4 trillion KRW). Hyundai Motor Group’s decision to make the largest-ever domestic investment this year is based on the judgment that continuous and stable investment is essential to overcome crises amid increasing uncertainties and secure future growth engines. The group will allocate ▲11.5 trillion KRW for research and development (R&D), ▲12 trillion KRW for capital investment, and ▲800 billion KRW for strategic investment. The R&D investment will be used to enhance product competitiveness, electrification, software-defined vehicles (SDV), hydrogen products, and the development of core future technologies.

KB Securities judged that SureSoftTech’s performance will be affected as the number of Hyundai vehicles applying SDV increases. They expected structural growth driven by strong demand from key customers.

SureSoftTech explained that the transition to the SDV system, which has become the axis of the global automotive market, is closely related to the company’s software testing and verification business. They have accumulated knowledge and experience in automotive controller testing and verification while performing automotive controller testing projects. As their understanding of the automotive software development process deepened, they expanded into developing specialized testing and verification solutions for automotive software. Recently, they have grown into a comprehensive automotive software engineering partner by directly developing some software for next-generation vehicle controllers.

The ES standard distributed by Hyundai Motor states, "All vehicle software with ASIL A, B, C, and D grades are subject to code verification, and Codescroll can be used for code verification." High-reliability, high-risk software does not end with a single test and verification. If additional software development, modification, or configuration changes occur, re-testing and verification must be conducted. SureSoftTech prepares for such re-testing by accumulating and assetizing test cases and verification know-how during the initial testing and verification. Customers ranking high in the company’s sales, including Hyundai Motor’s electric vehicle division, Mobis infotainment division, Hanwha defense division, and Doosan Enerbility nuclear division, all fall under this category.
