Actor Go Kyung-pyo has issued a strong warning that he will take firm action against malicious rumors surrounding him.


Go Kyung-pyo's agency, CLN Company, stated in an official statement on the 7th, "Recently, false information related to our artist Go Kyung-pyo has been indiscriminately spread and reproduced online and on social networking services (SNS)." They continued, "This is a serious criminal act that damages the artist's honor and dignity. Our company plans to take strong legal action against malicious slander, indiscriminate dissemination, and reproduction of false information about the artist through continuous monitoring."


They added, "We will proceed with strict legal measures against all illegal acts occurring after this notice without any settlement or leniency. We will continue to do our best to protect the rights of our artist and support the fans who cheer for him." Recently, a rumor spread online claiming that Go Kyung-pyo took photos suggestive of sexual acts with a woman at an unmanned photo studio located in Busan.


Meanwhile, Go Kyung-pyo debuted as an actor in 2010 through the drama 'Jungle Fish 2.' Since then, he has been actively working, appearing in dramas such as 'Potato Star 2013QR3,' 'Reply 1988,' 'Jealousy Incarnate,' 'D.P.,' and films including 'The Admiral: Roaring Currents,' 'Chinatown,' 'Decision to Leave,' and '6/45.'
