The police arrested two members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on the spot for participating in a rally demanding the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk-yeol and punishment for the Security Office.
According to the police on the 4th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested two KCTU members on charges of obstructing official duties. They are accused of assaulting police officers who blocked their march toward the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
One police officer confronting the union members was injured in the head and was bleeding. The KCTU also reported that one of their members was injured.

At noon that day, the KCTU attempted to march from Hannam-daero in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, toward the presidential residence but engaged in a physical struggle with the police at a barricade. The road where they were located is about 200 meters away from the Hannam-dong presidential residence.
The KCTU has been conducting an overnight sit-in protest for one night and two days in the Hannam-dong area near the presidential residence since 7 p.m. the previous day.
