On the 1st, Lee Jae-jun, Mayor of Suwon, visited the 'Jeju Air Passenger Plane Disaster Victims Joint Memorial Altar' set up at the indoor gymnasium of the Muan Comprehensive Sports Park in Jeollanam-do to offer condolences and pay tribute to the victims.
Mayor Lee Jae-jun visited the joint memorial altar around 3:30 PM that day together with Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong, and Cho Yong-ik, Mayor of Bucheon.
Before offering condolences, Mayor Lee met with Kim San, Governor of Muan County, and said, "Please let us know if there are any supplies needed to support the bereaved families," promising, "We will actively provide support if anything is necessary."
