Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 30th that it secured 202,663,000 KRW in emergency livestock disaster support funds (demolition costs for collapsed livestock barns) to urgently restore damages caused to livestock farms by the heavy snowfall from November 26 to 28, and completed the support on the 27th.

The support targets are livestock farms that reported heavy snow damage and applied for emergency livestock disaster support funds, and submitted tax invoices or payment receipts for the demolition of collapsed barns (including labor costs and equipment rental).
A total of 56 farms applied, and emergency livestock disaster support funds were promptly provided to 49 farms that met the eligibility criteria.
Kim Hyun-taek, Director of the Livestock Division, said, "I hope everyone does not lose hope despite the difficult circumstances and makes efforts in their respective positions to overcome the disaster. Yeoju City will also concentrate all administrative capabilities to ensure swift damage recovery."
