On the 30th, the Yeongju Cultural Tourism Foundation in Gyeongbuk carried out a briquette sharing volunteer activity in Yeongju 1-dong to contribute to the local community.
During this volunteer activity, foundation staff personally visited three vulnerable households in the area and delivered 1,200 briquettes, extending warmth to residents struggling with heating during the winter season.
Kim Won-taek, CEO of the Yeongju Cultural Tourism Foundation, said, “I hope this briquette sharing activity provides a small source of strength and comfort to local residents enduring the cold winter,” adding, “The foundation will continue to strive to fulfill its social responsibilities as a public foundation by working together with the local community.”
