This Year, 14.8 Billion Won...Expectations for Improved Quality of Life for Residents
Democratic Party lawmaker Moon Geumju (Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, Gangjin, Jeonnam) announced on the 26th, "A total of 7.9 billion KRW has been secured for 17 projects through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's special allocation tax for the second half of this year."
Based on his extensive personal network within government ministries, Moon has continuously worked to secure special allocation tax funds, resulting in a total of 14.8 billion KRW for 31 projects this year alone from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's special allocation tax.
The special allocation tax secured this time amounts to 1.7 billion KRW for Goheung, 1.7 billion KRW for Boseong, 2.2 billion KRW for Jangheung, and 2.3 billion KRW for Gangjin, totaling 7.9 billion KRW.
In detail, Goheung County will use the funds for the construction of the Space Launch Vehicle Complex Cultural Center (500 million KRW) and the establishment of the County Sky Park (400 million KRW). Boseong County will use the funds for the construction of the Bohyeolseonru Park Gate of Patriotism (500 million KRW) and the reconstruction of Yuleo Yulbyeon Bridge (700 million KRW).
Additionally, Jangheung County will use the funds for the Yongsan Mosancheon disaster recovery project (500 million KRW) and the extension of the Anyang Yonggokhang pier (500 million KRW). Gangjin County will use the funds for the construction of a safe route in Gangjin Bay Ecological Park (900 million KRW) and the improvement of frequently flooded areas in Gangjin-eup (700 million KRW).
Moon emphasized, "With the special allocation tax secured this time, we expect significant improvements in the quality of life and safety for residents of Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin," and added, "I will continue to do my best for the development of the region."
