Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 26th that it had delivered donations from the Hope 2025 School Fundraising Campaign at Gwangju Hakkang Elementary School (Principal Choi Jeo).

The donation ceremony held at Gwangju Hakkang Elementary School was attended by Kim Yunha, Head of Fundraising at Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Choi Jeo, Principal of Gwangju Hakkang Elementary School, and current students of the school.

The donation of 401,870 KRW was raised by Gwangju Hakkang Elementary School students, who created and sold goods (postcards, notebooks, files) featuring drawings they made of the Gwangju area (Yangnim-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju). The proceeds will be delivered to educationally disadvantaged groups in the region.

Choi Jeo, Principal of Gwangju Hakkang Elementary School, said, "It is meaningful that the donations collected through the students' talent donation can be delivered to students in need," and added, "I hope our students will continue to take interest in the culture of sharing and grow into individuals who put it into practice."
