Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon warned Acting President Han Duck-soo (Prime Minister) that if he continues to protect the forces of rebellion, which are the cause of instability in the Republic of Korea, the people will hold him accountable to the end.
On the 26th, Governor Kim posted on his social media, asking, "Acting President Han Duck-soo, have you decided to side with the forces of rebellion?" He then expressed his dismay, saying, "It is outrageous to demand the normalization of the Constitutional Court for ending the rebellion in agreement with the People Power Party, which protects the rebellion."
He added, "This is no different from the 'Declaration of Rebellion Extension' on December 26 following the December 3 rebellion," and claimed, "It is an admission of being not just an accomplice but a sympathizer and collaborator in the rebellion."
Furthermore, he questioned again, "Is Acting President Han Duck-soo intending to drive the country to ruin?" and added, "At a time when reducing uncertainty is already insufficient, the acting president has become the cause of instability."
Governor Kim emphasized, "Our people will hold accountable to the end those who protect the rebellion and disturb the country."
Earlier, Acting President Han Duck-soo, in an emergency national address, stated, "A reasonable and wise solution that the public can accept without disagreement is absolutely necessary regarding the composition of the Constitutional Court and the appointment of constitutional judges," and announced, "I will withhold the appointment of constitutional judges until the ruling and opposition parties reach an agreement and submit a proposal."
