Support from Wando Police Station, Lions Club, and Others
Wando Women Daily Guardians recently announced on the 26th that they held the '2024 Youth Healing Camp' at Sinji Myeongsasilli Caravan, with participation from local grandparent-grandchild families and single-parent families.
This event, supported by Wando Police Station, was organized so that members of the Women Daily Guardians could spend time practicing family love, communicating, and healing together with about 30 people from grandparent-grandchild families and others.

For the camp participants, Wando Lions Club personally delivered jumpers and vests worth about 2 million KRW, and support from organizations such as Wando County and Wando Office of Education continued. The camp featured a variety of experiential activities, including a marine healing program, cake making, treasure hunt, and campfire.
Despite the biting cold all day, staff from Wando Police Station lit a bonfire, filling the participants with the warmth of love. They watched a video together and shared the message, "Even though the ways of loving are different, everyone loves." Participants also wrote family letters and released wish lanterns into the sky, making wishes.
One student who attended the camp said, "Through this camp, I gained the motivation to live diligently," and added, "If I have the chance, I would like to participate in this fun and happy camp again."
President Choi Sujin said, "Over the past year, we have carried out various prevention campaigns against domestic violence and child abuse together with the Women and Youth Division of Wando Police Station," and added, "We will continue to do our best to build a safety net for the community by visiting island regions."
