Police summon Gu Samhoe, 2nd Armored Brigade Commander, over 'Noh Sang-won Special Unit Leader' allegations

The police have summoned Gu Samhoe, commander of the 2nd Armored Brigade of the Army and a member of the 'hamburger joint meeting' with former Intelligence Commander Noh Sang-won, who is suspected of being behind the planning of the martial law situation, as a suspect.


The Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters announced on the 25th that they are currently summoning and investigating Brigade Commander Gu as a suspect.

Brigade Commander Gu is suspected of conspiring the martial law with former Commander Noh and others at a Lotteria store in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, along with Bang Jeong-hwan, the Ministry of National Defense's Innovation Planning Officer, on the 3rd, the day martial law was declared.


Brigade Commander Gu is the person suspected of attempting to mobilize tank units during the martial law. He was named as the head of the '2nd Investigation Unit,' which former Commander Noh tried to organize as a private organization and special unit.
