Under the theme "Steps Toward Dreams," this special lecture was delivered by Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, who shared a message of dreams and hope with the students based on his own growth journey.
In the lecture, Mayor Joo emphasized the importance of dreams and the mindset and effort required to realize them concretely.
Mayor Joo also conveyed an encouraging message that enduring and overcoming temptations and difficulties encountered in the process of achieving dreams becomes a driving force in life.
Mayor Joo said, "It is important to seriously contemplate what kind of life you want to live, plan it, and steadily practice the build-up process of life," adding, "Dreams are like seeds held in the heart; with effort and love, they will surely bear beautiful fruit," encouraging the students.
A student who participated in the special lecture said, "Through the mayor's words, I realized how important it is to believe in myself and maintain an attitude of persistent effort to realize my dreams," and added, "I will also believe in my potential and take one step at a time toward my dreams."
Meanwhile, the city has conducted this special lecture for the fifth time, following Simseok High School, Pyeongnae High School, Dasan Hangang Elementary School, and Dasan High School, and provides various high-quality career and academic programs, including the 'Visiting Career Special Lecture,' to support students' dreams and career paths.
