Buk-gu Gwangju to Hold Gender-Responsive City Achievement Sharing Event

On the 24th, Happy Eoullim Center... Around 70 Attendees

Buk-gu, Gwangju City will hold an event to share the achievements of its outstanding women-friendly city projects this year.


Buk-gu announced on the 23rd that it will host a Women-Friendly City Achievement Sharing Session at 2:30 p.m. on the 24th at the Eoullim Auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Haengbok Eoullim Center.

On this day, around 70 participants including officials from the Women’s Happiness Support Center, organizations implementing women-friendly city projects, and women’s groups will attend the event, which will feature an opening ceremony and presentations of best practices from the women-friendly city projects.


The best practice presentations will introduce organizations such as Kkum Namu Social Welfare Center ("Mothers of the Together Care Village, Blooming Stories"), Korea Reading Culture and Arts Association ("Adding Equality to Everyday Life"), Chamshinan E.S.G. Cooperative ("A Village Shining with Gender Equality"), Gwangju Boseok Psychological Counseling Research Institute ("Buk-gu Childcare Captain in Our Neighborhood"), and Buk-gu Women's Resources Development Center ("Happy Women Changing the World").
