The Yulcheon Elementary School educational community visited Goseong County Office in Gyeongnam on the 23rd and donated 788,780 won to help neighbors in need.
This donation, continuing for the third year, was raised by Yulcheon Elementary School students, parents, and staff who sold products produced through social economy-related educational activities conducted over the year and collected the proceeds from a thrift market.
Principal Lee Seon-sook said, “In the third year, it is meaningful and fulfilling that students, parents, and staff have engaged in educational activities linked to economic activities and turned them into donations for neighbors in need,” adding, “We will continue to practice warm sharing activities as members of the local community.”
Meanwhile, the donated funds will be distributed to low-income families in the area.
