NH Investment & Securities raised the target price for the Japanese NPB licensed game 'Pro Baseball Rising (RISING)' from 53,000 KRW to 65,000 KRW on the 19th, reflecting increased expectations. The investment rating was maintained at 'Buy.'
Ahn Jae-min, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, explained, "Japan's professional baseball and baseball game market is larger than Korea's, but in the Japanese mobile game market, only Konami's ‘Pro Baseball Spirits A’ ranks high in the App Store sales charts."
He added, "Com2uS has operated the Com2uS Pro Baseball series in Korea for a long time, recording annual sales of about 190 billion KRW," and "last year, they released 'MLB 9 Innings Rival,' gaining experience in the Japanese baseball game market."
He analyzed, "Next year, they are preparing to launch ‘Summoners War: Legion,’ ‘Legend Summoner,’ ‘The Starlight,’ ‘Project M,’ and ‘Project ES’ using the Summoners War IP," and "they will fully recover their performance next year."
It is estimated that Com2uS will achieve sales of 838.8 billion KRW and an operating profit of 48.4 billion KRW next year. This represents an increase of 23.0% and 1110%, respectively, compared to this year's estimates.
