The police applied for a search warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol's safe house in Samcheong-dong, but the court dismissed the request.
According to the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency on the 17th, the recent search warrant for the safe house in Samcheong-dong and the CCTV was dismissed. The reason for dismissal was that the necessity for the search was not recognized.
On the 3rd, three hours before the declaration of martial law, President Yoon called Police Chief Jo Ji-ho and Seoul Police Chief Kim Bong-sik to the safe house and handed them one A4 sheet containing the martial law instructions. It is known that former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun was also present at the meeting.
Chief Jo and Chief Kim testified that they destroyed the document.
