Busan Cultural Center (CEO Cha Jae-geun) will present "Stars on Stage," featuring classical music stars such as Richard Yongjae O'Neill, Jang Yujin, Yang Inmo, Moon Taeguk, and Kim Gilwoo, on the 27th at 7:30 PM at the Busan Citizens Hall Grand Theater.

Centered around Richard Yongjae O'Neill, the violist most loved by Koreans who won the 63rd Grammy Awards for Best Classical Instrumental Solo and celebrates his 20th anniversary of solo debut in Korea this year, young musicians representing Korea will present a special chamber music stage.
Violinist Jang Yujin, winner of the 2016 Sendai International Music Competition in Japan and currently an assistant professor at the Eastman School of Music; star violinist Yang Inmo, winner of the 12th Sibelius Violin Competition in 2022 and receiving numerous love calls; cellist Moon Taeguk, recipient of the 1st J?nos Starker Award and winner of the 2014 Pablo Casals International Cello Competition; and clarinetist Kim Gilwoo, principal of the Chungbuk Provincial Symphony Orchestra and active member of Ensemble Blanc, Uterpi Winds, and Rustic Woodwind Ensemble, will all perform together.

This stage, created by young musicians representing Korea, is composed of a delicate program that will showcase the essence of classical chamber music.
Jang Yujin, Yang Inmo, Richard Yongjae O'Neill, and Moon Taeguk will perform Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1, one of the three string quartets he composed and the most well-known work among them, and the five soloists including clarinetist Kim Gilwoo will complete the performance with Brahms' Clarinet Quintet, considered a masterpiece, decorating the beauty of perfect chamber music.
This stage, where five Korean classical stars active on the world stage will communicate through music, will offer the joy of chamber music to the audience with a top-tier performance that needs no lengthy explanation.
"Stars on Stage" tickets are priced at 100,000 KRW for VIP seats, 80,000 KRW for R seats, 60,000 KRW for S seats, and 40,000 KRW for A seats, and the performance is open to audiences aged 7 and above.
Various discounts are available, including welfare discounts (50%), group discounts for bookings of 10 or more (20%), multi-child families (10%), and Busan Cultural Center paid members (10%). When booking through the Busan Citizens Hall website, an additional 1,000 KRW discount per ticket can be applied.
