Elected at the '2024 National General Assembly' on the 16th
Term starts January 1 next year for 3 years
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced on the 16th that it held the '2024 National General Assembly' at the CCMM Building in Yeouido, Seoul, and appointed Park Chang-sook as the 11th president of the association through the majority vote of the registered delegates.

President-elect Park's term will begin on January 1 next year and last for three years. She is the CEO of Changwoo Textile, a fabric manufacturing company, and the first female CEO in the domestic knitting industry. After joining the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association in 2014, she served as the 2nd president of the Gyeonggi Northern Branch from 2016 to 2018.
President-elect Park said, "Having lived as an entrepreneur for 34 years, I have grown my business and myself through activities in the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association," adding, "I will create a bigger and stronger Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association through change, challenge, and harmony."
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association is the only statutory women's economic organization in Korea, established in 1999 under the 'Act on Support for Female Entrepreneurs.'
