The professional volunteer group “V.ING” conducts counseling work within the volunteer center’s counseling room. They also contribute to the cigarette butt picking environmental cleanup program “Volunteer Here and Now” and the “Visiting Volunteer Guidance” program to improve local residents’ access to volunteering, striving to help new volunteers settle into their volunteer activities.
Additionally, they encouraged 1,399 non-registered individuals (as of November 29, 2024) who participated in volunteer activities but had not registered on the 1365 Volunteer Portal, thus their volunteer hours were not recognized, to sign up through phone calls. In this process, they recovered the hidden volunteer records of 499 volunteers.
A representative from the Goyang City Volunteer Center expressed gratitude for the efforts of the professional volunteer group V.ING and stated, “We plan to expand opportunities to strengthen their capabilities so they can grow as key leaders in the volunteer field.”
