Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2024 Records Management Evaluation' conducted by the Gyeongsangnam-do Archives.

This evaluation was conducted targeting a total of 19 institutions in Gyeongsangnam-do and its cities and counties to strengthen records management capabilities and establish a records management system compliant with the law. After qualitative and quantitative assessments of the status of statutory work implementation and excellent records management cases, the institution with the highest score was selected as an excellent institution.

In particular, the Jinju City Records Office received high evaluations in the fields of electronic records management, meeting minutes, and management of special types of records, and was also recognized for its efforts in directly collecting administrative historical records from employees.

An official from the city stated, “We will continue to do our best for Jinju City's systematic records management, including improving awareness of public records management, safe preservation, and efficient utilization.”
