Highest Score Among Doctors Nationwide in Outpatient Survey

On the 16th, Jeonnam National University Children's Hospital announced that Professor Yang Eun-mi of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescents was selected as the doctor with the best patient experience.

In September, survey company Sema Group Co., Ltd. selected Professor Yang Eun-mi as the doctor with the best patient experience, receiving the highest score (98.29 points) from outpatients among 11,754 doctors affiliated with 54 advanced general hospitals and general hospitals nationwide.

The "Doctor with Excellent Patient Experience" survey evaluates patients who received medical care on whether ▲ the doctor treated the patient with respectful manners ▲ listened carefully to the patient's story ▲ explained the examination and treatment plan in an easy-to-understand manner during diagnosis ▲ empathized with the patient's illness ▲ explained the treatment plan and precautions after the consultation. The scores for these related items are summed to determine the ranking.

Professor Yang received high scores in the categories of respect and courtesy, attentive listening, and explanation.

Professor Yang said, "I simply listened to patients' stories and explained accurate information so that patients and their guardians visiting the hospital could feel reassured and receive treatment," adding, "I will continue to strive to provide better medical services to patients."
