In January, "Yoon unlikely to endure long"
"Political level too low to govern the people"
"How can the brain function after drinking so much alcohol?"
Former Minister of Environment Yoon Yeo-jun, who once said, "The Yoon Seok-yeol administration will struggle to last beyond next spring," criticized, "President Yoon probably drinks every night, which has clouded his judgment."
On the 12th, former Minister Yoon appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' and referred to his statement made last January that "the Yoon administration would have a hard time enduring for long." He said, "Since it became clear that they lack the ability to govern, many people probably shared similar thoughts," adding, "It’s not because I have any special insight into the future." Regarding the emergency martial law situation, he expressed, "I thought President Yoon is not a person who thinks logically and might do something absurd," and shared his view that "his political level was too low to truly govern the people."

Former Minister Yoon criticized, "From what I heard, he drank almost every night until dawn. So, I think his judgment has become clouded compared to before," and questioned, "Can the brain function properly when drinking that much?" He also addressed the People Power Party’s absence from the impeachment vote against President Yoon on the 7th, calling it "cowardly," and pointed out, "Even if the mistakes are President Yoon’s, hasn’t the ruling party been supporting him until now?" He added, "Even if you call for impeachment before others, it’s questionable whether you would be forgiven. If it were me, I would have apologized to the people," and asked, "What is the justification and logic for not supporting impeachment when the president’s political mistakes are so enormous?"
Regarding Assemblyman Ahn Cheol-soo, he said, "There is a saying, 'Gwal-mok-sang-dae (刮目相對),' meaning to look again with new eyes. I feel the need to reconsider," evaluating Ahn’s vote in favor during the vote. On the other hand, about People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, who changed his stance on impeachment several times, he explained, "He is someone with almost no real political experience, and he is not in a mature state but facing very difficult circumstances," adding, "In such cases, one should return to principles, but he failed to do so and lost his center by adapting to situations as they came." Nevertheless, he added, "He is still immature, so in some ways, it is understandable. It is political immaturity rather than any particularly malicious intent."
