The Departments of Law at Gyeongsang National University and National Changwon University are national university law departments in the Gyeongsangnam-do region, dedicated to legal education and training legal professionals in the area. The students also take pride in their law major and pursue their dreams of becoming future legal experts.
Meanwhile, law students from both universities have agreed to jointly plan debate competitions and academic conferences for exchange and friendship purposes in the future, as well as to continue sports events.
Park Jun-young, head of the Department of Law at Gyeongsang National University, stated, “Before COVID-19, there were various exchanges between law students of Gyeongsang National University and National Changwon University. I hope this opportunity will serve as a catalyst to reactivate communication and exchange among law students in the Gyeongnam region.” He added, “We will actively support, at the department level, the growth of students from both universities into legal leaders responsible for the future and the formation of a legal community in Gyeongnam.”
