[Click eStock] "Microdigital, Noisy Due to External Factors but Now Is the Opportunity"

On the 11th, IBK Investment & Securities analyzed that despite external variables causing noise around Microdigital, now is an opportunity.

Researcher Geonjae Lee of IBK Investment & Securities stated in a report that “After the market closed the previous day, Microdigital announced through a disclosure that it signed a sole sales supply contract with SII (Serum Institute of India), the world's largest vaccine manufacturer, through the Indian bio materials company Accumax Lab Devices,” adding, “According to this contract, Microdigital will supply disposable bioreactors and some test bags to SII.”

He explained, “This contract proceeded unusually quickly, mainly because Microdigital's self-developed CELBIC system has high technological independence, eliminating concerns about global patent disputes,” and analyzed, “Additionally, the highly reliable field test results secured during the supply contract process with a North American company positively influenced negotiations with new customers.”

Furthermore, he noted, “Although recent exclusion of the biosecurity law from the 2025 U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has increased market concerns, experts forecast that additional regulations are possible as China's bio industry is catching up with the U.S. faster than the semiconductor industry,” and projected, “Microdigital has already expanded its business in India, Korea, and Japan, markets attracting attention as alternatives to China, and has successfully entered the U.S. market. Accordingly, continuous growth is expected in line with the global trend to reduce dependence on China.”
