Billboard: "V Teams Up with Youngwoong... Astonishing Musical Talent"

The American music media Billboard mentioned that V has long admired Bing Crosby, stating, "He fulfilled his dream of duetting with his hero. Their voices created a beautiful harmony in 'White Christmas' that transcends generations and time."

Greg Field, a Grammy and Emmy-winning jazz producer who produced this song, highly praised V's musical abilities. He said, "V made all the choices musically excellent. He fully understood what it meant to sing with Bing Crosby."

The American media Consequence of Sound evaluated, "When V starts singing, Bing Crosby's familiar voice soon joins in, creating a warm harmony." They added, "With classic and cozy instrumentation and the harmonious blend of the two voices, this song feels like a true holiday gift."

The British daily The Guardian analyzed that despite fierce competition in the UK Official Charts for carols, "V has the potential to create two holiday hits simultaneously with the duet with Bing Crosby and the collaboration song 'Winter Ahead' with Park Hyo-shin."

Released on the 6th, 'White Christmas' is a modern reinterpretation by V of the classic song originally released by Bing Crosby in 1942. The production team extracted Crosby's voice from 1950s records, added V's vocals, and included new accompaniment to create the effect as if the two sang together in the same recording studio.

Upon release, the song topped the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in 43 countries including France, Japan, Finland, and Brazil, receiving a warm response.

In addition to this song, V expanded his musical spectrum once again by releasing 'Winter Ahead,' a collaboration with singer Park Hyo-shin. 'Winter Ahead,' a jazz pop genre song featuring romantic lyrics and melody, successfully entered the US Billboard Main Singles Chart 'Hot 100' at number 99 on its debut. With this, V set his fifth solo entry on the 'Hot 100,' and Park Hyo-shin appeared on Billboard for the first time.
