The Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province has attracted attention by accepting the heartfelt 'thank you gifts' sent by citizens and promptly passing the gifts on to nearby welfare facilities.
On the 9th, Suwon Nambu Fire Station announced that it delivered a package gift (one box of snacks) sent by Mr. A, who was transported to the hospital by ambulance on the 6th, to the Wooman 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center as a token of gratitude.
On the night of the 4th, around 10:48 PM, Mr. A called the fire station requesting help due to chest pain and difficulty breathing, and the Suwon Nambu Fire Station transported him to Suwon St. Vincent's Hospital.

Fire Sergeant Jang Ji-hwan and substitute crew member Oh Young-taek, who responded at the scene, recalled, "When we arrived, Mr. A was complaining of chest pain and difficulty breathing, so we maintained a stable condition while checking his electrocardiogram and then transported him to the hospital."
Go Young-joo, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, said, "We decided to accept only the citizen’s heartfelt message (handwritten letter) and delivered the donated goods (one box of snacks) to the Wooman 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center to help neighbors in welfare blind spots."
Earlier, on the 27th of last month, after Venerable Boman from Dogaksa Temple visited the fire station for firefighter training and completed his lecture, he sent rice cakes the next morning (28th) with a message saying, "We send rice cakes with gratitude for the sacrifice and dedication of firefighters," which were then delivered to nearby social welfare facilities.
Also, in September, a thank-you gift (one box of apples) sent by a citizen who was transported to the hospital by ambulance was delivered to a nearby social welfare facility.
