Screening of 6 Films Including Daughter and Perfect Days
Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 9th that the "6th Nonghanki Film Festival" will be held for six days from the 16th to the 21st at the Wanju Media Center.
The "Nonghanki Film Festival" is organized with the Wanju Media Center supporting film distribution, screening, and venue, while the local community group Gosan-gwon Byeonongsa Dure is responsible for selecting works and managing the event.
The screening schedule includes six films: starting with "About My Daughter" on the 16th, "A Table for Two" on the 17th, "After Me Too" on the 18th, "Softly" on the 19th, "Perfect Days" on the 20th, and "Makgeolli Will Tell You" on the 21st.
Screenings are held at 7 PM from Monday to Friday, and at 2 PM on Saturday. Before and after the screenings, there will be brief film introductions and time for sharing impressions.
On the morning of the 21st at 10 AM, the "Citizen Video Festival," sharing the annual achievements of the Wanju Media Center, will also take place.
Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis, and childcare staff will be assigned to the playroom inside the center for visitors accompanied by children.
An Chung-hwan, director of the Wanju Media Center, said, "The Nonghanki Film Festival is an opportunity to experience films made directly by residents as well as various genres and themes recognized both domestically and internationally. We aim to promote communication and harmony within the local community through media and to serve as a catalyst for cultural capacity growth."
