Official Launch of Hancom Assistant and Hancom Pedia
Hancom will officially launch its AI intelligent document creation tool 'Hancom Assistant' and AI-based Q&A solution 'Hancom Pedia' on the 6th.
Hancom Assistant automatically generates documents tailored to the purpose by understanding the intent and analyzing the content using AI models suitable for the customer's environment when the user gives commands in natural language. This allows users to create documents easily and quickly. Compared to the beta version, usability has been improved, and the draft creation function has been enhanced so that users unfamiliar with prompt writing can create documents by selecting from the provided topics.
Additionally, it supports six topics divided into business and job-seeking categories. Users can write according to the characteristics of each topic, such as press releases, table of contents creation, speech points, greetings, one-line resume introductions, and one-minute self-introductions. A new feature for generating images needed during document creation has been added. It is possible to create Hangul formatted documents utilizing data in connection with HanCell.
Hancom Assistant provides flexible and scalable AI solutions tailored to users' business needs. It broadly supports from cloud-based large language models (LLM) to small language models (sLLM) suitable for closed network environments. Customized functions reflecting each customer's requirements are also implemented. It can be integrated with various existing productivity tools, including Hancom Office, web office, and Microsoft (MS) Office.
Hancom Pedia is a document-based Q&A solution that helps users easily and intuitively find necessary information from vast document data. It consists of an administrator page and a user page. Administrators can customize the user environment through document uploads, project management, index settings, and permission management. Users can check results based on uploaded documents through natural language search or receive information according to their search permissions. This solution runs on web browsers and on-premises environments and supports Hangul and PDF formats. Notably, it minimizes hallucinations through a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) model and provides high reliability by citing sources in answers. It also offers optimized answers through customer-tailored search settings.
Kim Yeonsu, CEO of Hancom, said, "With this official launch, we expect to focus on advancing AI products from next year and generate substantial sales and profits," adding, "We will concentrate our capabilities to establish this as an essential office environment service that meets the demands of public and corporate customers."
