Busan Metropolitan City Corporation (BMC) conducted human rights education and a human rights audit for personnel involved in the "Osiria Tourism Complex Road Expansion and Sewage Facility Maintenance Project" site on the 27th of last month.
This education and human rights audit at the construction site targeted the Osiria Tourism Complex road expansion and sewage facility maintenance project sites promoted by BMC, with attendees including members of the construction project management team, contractors, and partner companies.
Through its own human rights education and audits at construction sites, BMC plans to continuously promote the implementation of human rights management, including protecting the rights of on-site workers, creating safe construction sites, and protecting local residents.
Park Su-saeng, Acting President of Busan Metropolitan City Corporation, stated, "Not only within the corporation but also the personnel involved in ongoing construction projects will understand human rights management, and we will work together to spread a culture of respect for human rights and ensure safe workplaces."
